🏡 Well… this is what we’ve been up to over summer! 😂
We’ve been keeping this one under our hats for a little while, but we can finally share our latest project.
It’s an old property just outside York, sitting in around 46 acres of Yorkshire countryside, with a main house, annexe, a couple of big old barns, swimming pool and plenty of land.
The place has got a lovely bit of history to it too. It was home to a big family for many years, who converted the original barns to create the house you see today. They raised their family here, ran their businesses from here and clearly put a lot into the place over the years 💖🏡
It might be a bit dated now, but the bones of it are good and solid, which is one of the things we liked about it from the start.
We’ve already got properly stuck in, stripping things back and starting to bring the house and annexe back to life. There’s a fair old way to go yet, but it’s nice to finally see things taking shape after everything that went into getting this one over the line.
We really love the place and just want to do it justice. We’ll keep as much of its character as we can.
We’ve got plenty of ideas rattling around for the future, but one job at a time… there’s more than enough here to keep us busy for now! 😅
