It’s almost time for the annual York Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge!

The event has been held annually since 2003 and has raised over £1,300,000 for local charities.

On July 10th 2022, 36 teams will be battling it out on the River Ouse (between Scarborough Bridge and Lendal Bridge) for the Challenge Trophy and other prestigious awards.

I’ll be captaining the Swift Taylors once again - last year we were just pipped to second place (by the army!) so this year the challenge is real!

It's dragon boat time again!

Once again Peter will be captaining the Company of Merchant Taylors boat in the annual York Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge.

This is a fantastic event and our boat is aiming to raise at least £1500 for three brilliant charities: The Hut, SASH and the Company of Merchant Taylors.
