Section 10 clause 2 of Act 1036 says, "an agreement, deed or conveyance of whatever nature, which seeks, contrary to subsection (1),to confer on a person who is not a citizen of Ghana a freehold interest in, or right over, land is void".

Clause 6, "says a person shall not create an interest in or right over land in Ghana which vests in any person who is not a citizen of Ghana a leasehold for a term of fifty years at any one time".

Folks, pay attention to the kinda lease documents you prepare for your clients oooo.
