Don’t forget the marshmallows! ⚡
Bonfire is a great way to start your overnight camping trip. It can be done with just a few things, like tinder and some logs. Check out this list of tips for how to start your first campfire.
⚡Wood: If you're going camping, bring some wood. Cut your own to save time and effort, or buy some from a local hardware store.
⚡Tinder: This is what will ignite your fire. The best tinder is a dry twig that ignites easily and burns steadily for 30 minutes or more. It should also be fairly soft, with no bark attached (bark can burn). Good tinders include shredded dryer lint, dried moss, shredded newspaper, or crumpled up aluminum foil.
⚡Logs: Make sure to bring enough logs for your fire pit! They're really easy to start on a campfire and they will keep your fire burning warm throughout the night. You can also find some pretty cool ones at local ranches and country stores.
