Everything started 2 years ago when we decided to test in practice an idea we saw rapidly emerging in the Greek market as a response to rising rental prices... FLATSHARING
Our first property, situated in the Larissa Station area of Athens, served as our pilot project.
It is a 70 sq.m. apartment on the 3rd floor, just 200 meters from the metro.
Through thoughtful design and efficient use of space, we managed to create 3 bedrooms, which are rented out to 3 different young individuals.
From September 2024 until today, the property has delivered a gross rental yield of approximately 9% per annum , while occupancy exceeds 95% — validating the strength and sustainability of this model.
We strongly believe that, due to the ongoing pressure from increasing rental prices, this trend will continue to grow.
Flatsharing reduces risk from the investor’s perspective, as income is distributed across multiple tenants paying smaller amounts, making total default significantly less likely.
At the same time, for tenants, it lowers the overall cost of living and effectively eliminates setup costs, as each tenant only needs to bring a... suitcase.
With this in mind, REI is inviting new investors to participate with the goal of scaling this concept further.
The company is currently finalizing its first small funding round to further strengthen its proof of concept and will soon move on to the next round.
Participation in upcoming rounds starts from €5,000, offering investors the opportunity to gain exposure to a real estate company that manages each project end-to-end — without requiring time, effort, experience or operational involvement on their part.
