Today, two little helpers – bright-eyed and full of enthusiasm– were out in the garden, giggling as they picked tomatoes, zucchini, and peppers under the warm Cretan sun. Their mission?

Helping @μαλαματενια gather vegetables for one of Greece’s most beloved dishes: Gemista – oven-baked vegetables stuffed with rice, herbs, and love.

And this wasn’t just any meal. It was a moment of connection – of generations cooking side by side, sharing stories, laughter, and the secrets of Cretan tradition.
