In the winter of 2000/ 2001 Maria Apartments were one of the first private accommodations in Pefkos to be connected to the internet with an email address. No WiFi then, we had 'dial-up'.
One of the first online enquiries and bookings I received was from Mr Bardon who wanted to book apartments for the occasion of his daughter, Denise's marriage to Nigel which would take place at the beginning of June.
I am very proud to say that 25 years later, Denise and Nigel returned again to Maria Apartments to celebrate their 25 years, Silver
wedding anniversary together with their now grown up children and Denise's mum and dad.
I've attached few of the wedding photos from 2001 photos, kindly provided by Denise, and a 'then and now' photo of me re
arranging Denise's necklace at the gate to the apartments as she was on her way to the
ceremony back in 2001.
