This Sunday, 16 August 2026, Greece celebrates World Lighthouse Day. And our guests have a wonderful opportunity to visit one of Lefkada’s most iconic landmarks — the Ducato Lighthouse at Cape Lefkatas, at the southern tip of the island.

We especially recommend visiting in the afternoon. Walk out to the dramatic Cape Lefkatas, discover the lighthouse, enjoy the endless views over the Ionian Sea and stay for the sunset.
This is more than a sightseeing stop — it is a rare chance to step inside a historic lighthouse and experience a little piece of Lefkada’s maritime heritage.
