Το Λιμένι είναι ένα από τα πιο όμορφα και φωτογραφημένα χωριά της Μάνης. Χτισμένο κυριολεκτικά πάνω στα γαλαζοπράσινα νερά του Λακωνικού κόλπου, ξεχωρίζει για τα πέτρινα πυργόσπιτα, τα στενά σοκάκια και τη μοναδική μανιάτικη ατμόσφαιρα. Βρίσκεται μόλις 5 χιλιόμετρα από την Αρεόπολη και αποτελεί το ιστορικό επίνειό της.
Το Λιμένι συνδέεται άμεσα με την οικογένεια των Μαυρομιχαλαίων και την ιστορία της Ελληνικής Επανάστασης του 1821, ενώ μέχρι σήμερα διατηρεί αναλλοίωτο τον παραδοσιακό του χαρακτήρα.
Τα κρυστάλλινα νερά του είναι ιδανικά για βουτιές, ενώ το ηλιοβασίλεμα που βάφει χρυσές τις πέτρινες κατοικίες δημιουργεί ένα σκηνικό που μοιάζει βγαλμένο από άλλη εποχή. Ένας προορισμός που δεν επισκέπτεσαι απλώς, τον ζεις.
