🇬🇷🚴♂️Nikiforos Arvanitou: dalla Grecia un altro rinforzo 2023 per la Sofer Savini Due OMZ!🤩
🔊Grecia, culla della civiltà occidentale e dello sport con le sue antichissime Olimpiadi. Da questa nazione arriva un nuovo atleta per rinforzare l’organico 2023 della Sofer Savini Due OMZ: Nikiforos Arvanitou, il primo corridore greco a far parte del roster rumeno-italiano. Da juniores è stato campione nazionale greco su strada (2020 e 2021) e a cronometro (2020). Nel 2022 il passaggio in Spagna alla squadra continental Java Kiwi Atlantico con la quale ha ottenuto un ottavo posto nell’ultima tappa della corsa francese Ronde de L’Oise. Ha partecipato al Giro del Portogallo e lo ha portato a termine seppur malconcio dopo una caduta alla quarta tappa.
💬“Dalle piccole gare in Grecia direttamente a quelle di alto livello con le squadre Professional e World Tour ho dovuto assorbire in fretta questo grande salto. Ho acquisito molta esperienza e ora sono più concentrato che mai anche nel far parte della Sofer Savini Due OMZ nel 2023. Ho visto questa squadra comportarsi molto bene al Tour of Hellas. Sono stato attratto da questo team perché in organico ci sono molti giovani come me ed è l’ambiente ideale per potermi esprimere al meglio. Spero di correre quante più gare possibili e di ritagliarmi ancora grandi soddisfazioni e, perché no, una gran bella vittoria con la mia nuova squadra” ha detto Arvanitou.

🔊Greece, cradle of western civilization and of sport with its very ancient Olympics. A new athlete arrives from this nation to reinforce the 2023 roster of Sofer Savini Due OMZ: Nikiforos Arvanitou, the first Greek rider to be part of the Romanian-Italian roster. As a junior he was the Greek national champion on the road (2020 and 2021) and in the time trial (2020). In 2022 the move to Spain to the Java Kiwi Atlantico continental team with which he obtained an eighth place in the last stage of the French race Ronde de L'Oise. He took part in the Tour of Portugal and completed it albeit battered after a crash on the fourth stage.
💬“From the small races in Greece directly to the high level ones with the Professional and World Tour teams I had to quickly absorb this big leap. I have gained a lot of experience and now I am more focused than ever to also be part of the Sofer Savini Due OMZ in 2023. I have seen this team perform very well in the Tour of Hellas. I was attracted to this team because there are many young people like me in the workforce and it is the ideal environment to be able to express myself at my best. I hope to run as many races as possible and still gain great satisfaction and, why not, a great victory with my new team" said Arvanitou.
