Isternia öffnet sich wie ein stilles Amphitheater zum Meer; ein Ort, an dem die Kykladen ihre ruhige, zeitlose Seite zeigen. Die terrassenförmig gebauten Häuser schmiegen sich an den Hang, während der Blick ungehindert über das endlose Blau der Ägäis gleitet.

Hier scheint die Zeit langsamer zu vergehen: schmale Gassen, weiß getünchte Mauern und das sanfte Licht, das besonders am Abend alles in warme Farben taucht. Isternia ist kein Ort für Eile – sondern für Momente. Für das leise Rauschen des Windes, das Klirren von Gläsern in kleinen Tavernen und das Gefühl, angekommen zu sein. 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊

Tinos enthültt sich zwischen Pilgerwegen, Marmordörfern und einer Landschaft, die sich erst beim Gehen erschließt.

This spot doesn't feel like it belongs to the landscape of Tinos - yet here it stands, just outside of Volax village.

"Panagia Kalaman" looks empty and quiet right now but during Easter time, the annual celebration breathes new life in this place.

Just imagine all these tables filled up with food and wine, laughter and violin notes.

Make sure you pass by next time you visit Volax or take the M2 hiking route. 🥾🥾

*Little secrets of Tinos*

Do you wish for peace and quiet during your swim?
Or maybe for a slow day at the beach, having picnic right next to crystal waters?

Then discover with us the most peaceful spot at 'Gastriotissa' beach, just 2 km away from our studios.

Just before Kionia village, the stone steps by the road lead us down to 'Platia Ammos' beach. It's nice and sandy here but we're looking for something else.

We cross the beach from one side to the other and see the familiar path heading up. We follow it while gazing that deep blue on our left.

The scent of wild thyme accompanies our every step. That 10' walk feels like seconds. Or maybe hours?

We don't really care.

The chapel is visible now. Suddenly, the sun feels scorching hot. We can't wait to dive in the water and rest under some shadow.

After we cool off, we set up the picnic under that lone tree. Some of us climb on the chapel's roof and sunbathe, others play rackets on the sand.

We don't disturb anyone and no one disturbs us.

For a few hours, this spot is our own little playground and we'll be seeing it quite often this summer.

*Little secrets of Tinos*

Catch the most stunning sunset with us at Profitis Ilias chapel, a beautiful spot on the North side of the island.

The way to the top starts a little outside of the village Marlas, where the rocky landscape looks surreal already.
After a short hike, we're catching glimpses of the chapel and soon, we're there.

360° of spectacular views while the sun is setting behind the cliff. Inside the chapel (it's always unlocked) we find water, coffee, even raki for the visitors.
Five stars for hospitality⭐️

We leave a tip in the box and go out to gaze upon those sunset colors. Dimming light, drinks in hand, we share stories from the past or plans for the future between us.

Those moments feel special. This place feels special.

Time passed and it's completely dark now. We turn on our flashlights and head back down.
