The connoisseurs know.
They know September is probably the best time to be in Thassos.
The island is still beautifully green.
The days are warm, but not exhausting.
The sea is still warm enough for those long swims you don’t want to get out of.
The walking trails are there, waiting — without the August heat.
And the tavernas, cafés, little shops, breakfasts and long lunches…
you can actually enjoy them. No crowds. No waiting. No rushing around.
Just more space, more blue sky, more time.
Because September in Thassos has a certain something.
Summer, without all the fuss.
And if you know, you know.

It was never meant to be a guestbook.
It was just a little notebook, hanging on the fridge.
And then, little by little, our guests started leaving messages in it.
A few words before they left.
A thank you.
A little drawing.
A memory.
Sometimes just a promise to come back.
And now, every time I open it, I find a little piece of the people who have passed through Villa Evdora.
Someone wrote about the magic of the garden and the hours spent listening to the sea.
Someone called us “sister” and promised to be back in July 2027 — and they meant it.
Others wrote about the soul of the house, the view, the feeling of being at home while being far from home.
And honestly, what more could you ask for?
A house is made of stone, wood, windows and doors.
But somehow, people leave something behind that you cannot see.
A laugh.
A memory.
A little bit of themselves.
So, to everyone who has ever picked up that pen and left a few words behind:
Thank you.
You are now part of the story of Villa Evdora.
And yes…
the little notebook is still waiting for the next story.
