Since spring 2024, we’ve been the proud owners of thousands and thousands of bees 🐝

What started as a spontaneous idea “let’s do something that’s good for the land”, slowly turned into something much bigger.

Three seasons later, we’ve learned so much about these little creatures. We notice when the bees are happy, when they need a little help, when it’s time to expand their home, and when the queen is happily growing her family.

Taking care of them is definitely work, but watching our colonies grow stronger every year makes it all worth it.

And this year, for the very first time, our colonies had grown strong enough and the bees had stored enough honey for us to finally take a little for ourselves.

So here it is… our very first harvest of Vima Santorini Honey!

Golden light, wild thyme and the soft hum of our bees. 🐝✨

Beekeeping on our little corner of Santorini is not a business plan. It’s a love story.

Two years ago, we placed our first hives on our land. No big expectations - just curiosity, respect and the desire to learn. Since then, the bees have been teaching us about patience and rhythm.

They travel from thyme to wildflowers, from almond blossom to our organic garden, pollinating life into everything they touch. We help them by simply allowing them to be bees and do what they are naturally so good at. We only taste the honey they can truly spare - never more.

For us, beekeeping is part of a bigger picture: living slower, caring for the land and protecting what is fragile and essential.

If you listen closely, you can hear it. Deep down, we all know what is right for nature. Let’s work on it — all of us, together.
