This past weekend, I had the privilege of attending Econome V under the powerful theme "Swim Differently" at Four Points by Sheraton.
The experience challenged me to think beyond the familiar and embrace new possibilities in business, leadership, and personal growth.
My biggest takeaway was that swimming differently means being willing to venture into the unknown. However, before we can swim differently, we must first master the fundamentals. Success is built on a strong foundation.
Some key insights that resonated with me were:
Don't seek comfort—seek growth.
Different waters require different strokes. What works in one environment may not work in another.
Scale can be achieved through numbers or through margins—both require intentional strategy.
Be willing to leave the safety of the shore and seek open waters where innovation and opportunity exist.
Develop new ways of thinking, learning, and "swimming" as circumstances change.
At the heart of every lesson shared over the weekend was one central message: Purpose. Understanding your purpose provides the direction, clarity, and courage needed to navigate unfamiliar waters and embrace growth.
As we continue to build and serve through SH Construction and Consultancy Service, these lessons will help shape how we approach opportunities, challenges, and the future.
Thank you to the organisers, speakers, and fellow participants who made Econome V such an inspiring and transformative experience.
