Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), headquartered in the United Kingdom, is a professional body for housing managers.

Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch is the professional organisation for people working in housing and plays a leading role in setting standards in policy formulation, training and professional development in housing management. It actively advises governments on housing management policies, promotes the code of ethics among housing practitioners, educates and nurtures housing prof

essionals, and works to advance the development of the profession. With the primary aim to promote the art and science of housing, the CIH offers training programs, provides professional advice and disseminates technical information to its members and the public. It serves as a common platform for members of its branches to exchange views and to share experience in housing management with related organisations. The Hong Kong Branch of the Institute was established in 1966 under the Societies Ordinance. In January 2023, it aligned its English name to the Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch to correspond to its Chinese name 「特許房屋經理學會亞太分會」. In 2020, the CIHAPB was confirmed among the first batch of ‘recognised professional bodies’ in Hong Kong, demonstrating its leading position in the industry. The CIH has more than 17,000 members worldwide, with over 3,400 from the APB. Members work predominately in government housing authorities, educational institutions, private corporations and nongovernmental organisations in both the UK and the Asia-Pacific region. Professional qualifications validated by the CIH are widely recognised by both the public and private sectors in the UK and Hong Kong.

CIHAPB、HKIFM 及 HKIS (PFMD) 共度歡樂時光

於2026年6月12日當晚，特許房屋經理學會亞太分會 (CIHAPB) 聯同香港設施管理學會 (HKIFM) 及香港測量師學會物業設施管理組 (HKIS PFMD) 於尖沙咀「美妙吧」舉行了「CIHAPB、HKIFM 及 HKIS (PFMD) 共度歡樂時光」聚會。

活動由三家專業學會的代表致辭拉開序幕。這次聚會為業界同仁提供了一個與業界交流及拓展人脈網絡的機會。大家一邊享用啤酒與精選小吃 ，一邊就物業及設施管理行業的發展交流心得，進一步加深了各友好學會之間的緊密聯繫，並擴展了專業人脈。

On the evening of 12 June 2026, the Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch (CIHAPB) hosted a fantastic joint " CIHAPB, HKIFM & HKIS (PFMD) Joint Happy Hours" networking session alongside The Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management (HKIFM) and The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors - Property & Facility Management Division (HKIS PFMD) at the Wonderful Pub in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The event kicked off with inspiring opening remarks from representatives of all three institutes. It was an incredible night filled with lively conversations and shared insights. Industry professionals caught up over beers and snacks, forging closer ties and expanding their professional networks across the housing and facility management sectors.

We look forward to organising more cross-professional gatherings in the future to build on this vibrant success.

特許房屋經理學會亞太分會（CIHAPB）主席鄺立信先生於2026年6月18日率領執行委員會成員前往深圳前海，出席深圳市物業經理人學會（SIPM）成立二周年大會暨會員聯誼交流活動。

鄺主席在大會上致辭時表示，SIPM深耕深圳物業管理行業，凝聚業界精英，促進專業交流，助力行業升級，實至名歸，備受肯定。
去年，SIPM與CIHAPB簽署會籍互認協議，爲兩地物業及房屋管理從業人員搭建了專業平臺，推動國際標準在本地落地，促進行業專業化與國際化。

未來，CIHAPB將繼續與SIPM落實會籍互認機制，加强人才交流與課程共建，携手業界同仁推動大灣區物業管理行業邁向更高質素、更國際化的新階段。

Celebrating the 2nd Anniversary of the Shenzhen Property Managers Association

On 18 June 2026, Mr. Keith Kwong, Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch (CIHAPB), led executive committee members to Qianhai, Shenzhen, to join the Shenzhen Institute of Property Managers (SIPM) in marking its second anniversary.

In his remarks, Chairman Kwong applauded SIPM’s deep roots in Shenzhen’s property management sector, its uniting of industry talent, and its tireless promotion of professional exchange—achievements that had rightfully earned widespread respect and recognition.

Last year, SIPM and CIHAPB formalised a mutual membership recognition agreement, creating a shared professional platform for property and housing management practitioners on both sides. This partnership helped embed international standards locally and driven the industry toward greater professionalisation and global engagement.

Looking ahead, CIHAPB would continue to implement and strengthen this mutual recognition framework with SIPM, expanding talent exchanges and co-developing training programmes. Together with colleagues across the Greater Bay Area, we would propel the region’s property management industry to new heights of quality and international competitiveness.

We wish SIPM advancing the professional capabilities and standards of practising managers, and continued success in the years to come.

CIHAPB 講座：物業管理糾紛解決案例分析 暨 頒發專業調解課程畢業證書典禮

特許房屋經理學會亞太分會（CIHAPB）於2026年6月13日聯同香港城市大學公共及國際事務學系（PIA）及香港調解仲裁中心（HKMAAC），於香港城市大學合辦了上述主題活動。

主禮嘉賓，物業管理業監管局(PMSA)主席黃光天, BBS, JP, 分享了調解是物管從業人員執行工作的軟性工具的要素； 蘇文傑教授主講調解技巧，讓參加者透過多個常見的物管案例，提升應對和解決糾紛的實務能力，化解矛盾。活動環節的調解專題討論，啟發會員可以利用調解方法處理糾紛。我們要多謝城市大學公共及國際事務學系的幫助，安排今次的活動場地及設施，讓這次活動功舉辦。

PMSA主席黃光天先生及行政總裁蕭如彬先生向28位學員頒發「專業調解課程畢業證書」。我們衷心嘉許並祝賀所有的學員順利畢業，獲得專業調解知識，將專業的調解技巧融入日常工作，為建和諧社區出一分力。

CIHAPB Seminar: Legal Case Studies of Resolving Property Management Disputes cm Professional Mediation Certification Ceremony

On 13 June 2026, the Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch (CIHAPB), together with the Department of Public and International Affairs (PIA) at City University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Mediation and Arbitration Centre (HKMAAC), co-hosted a themed professional development event on the CityU campus.

The guest of honour, Mr Wong Kwong-tin, James, BBS, JP, Chairperson of the Property Management Services Authority (PMSA), shared about how mediation could serve as a “soft tool” for property-management practitioners in their daily work. Professor So Man-kit, Albert conducted a talk on mediation techniques, guiding participants through several common property-management case studies to strengthen their skills in resolving disputes and defusing conflicts. The event's special panel discussion on mediation showed how our members can use these skills to resolve conflicts. Special thanks go to City University's Department of Public and International Affairs for arranging the venue and facilities, ensuring the event ran smoothly and successfully.

Mr Wong Kwong-tin and PMSA Chief Executive Mr Siu Yu-pun presented Professional Mediation Course graduation certificates to 28 attendees. We warmly congratulated all graduates on acquiring these specialist mediation skills and looked forward to seeing them put their new knowledge to use in building more harmonious communities.

The second Professional Mediation Training Course would begin on 13 September 2026. Members were encouraged to watch for the official announcement.

工業傷亡權益會 2026年6月6日全港賣旗日

特許房屋經理學會亞太分會主席鄺立信先生和青年事務委員會副主委蘇焯平先生連同CIHAPB會員一同參與了工業傷亡權益會於2026年6月6日舉辦的全港賣旗日，在觀塘區籌募經費，用以支援工傷者、職業病患者及工業意外死者家屬，並推動職業安全健康教育，提升社會大眾對工作安全的關注。同時，活動亦希望鼓勵更多市民參與義工服務，與受傷工友及其家屬同行，共建更安全的工作環境。

The Association for the Rights of Industrial Accident Victims (ARIAV) Flag Day 2026

Mr. Keith Kwong, Chairman of Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch (CIHAPB), and Mr. Ivan So, Vice Chair of Youth Affairs Committee, along with CIHAPB members, participated in the Territory-wide Flag Day organised by the Association for the Rights of Industrial Accident Victims (ARIAV) on 6 June 2026. 特許房屋經理學會亞太分會與香港房屋經理學會舉辦職業講座

特許房屋經理學會亞太分會(CIHAPB)聯同香港房屋經理學會(HKIH)於2026年6月6日（星期六）假香港大學及網上向修讀城市研究及房屋管理碩士課程的學生舉辦了一場職業講座，由兩會的委員分別介紹學會架構、物業管理新科技與技巧、各類物業及日常運作模式、設施管理與物業管理之分別，以及職業階梯與發展路徑；講座中邀請了兩位已完成課程，現於本港設施管理行業工作的師兄分享其職業生涯及日常工作經驗，並鼓勵同學投身物業及設施管理範疇。

有部分出席學生來自內地不同省份，期望畢業後在香港發展。在討論環節中，他們與講者探討如何在港開展工作，包括進修物業管理知識、撰寫履歷及學習廣東話的重要性。

我們衷心希望同學透過今次講座，掌握在香港從事物業管理工作所需的關鍵要素，發揮所長。本會期望與各專業團體攜手合作，一同推動物業管理專業發展。

Career Talk Co-hosted by the Chartered Institute of Housing Asia Pacific Branch and The Hong Kong Institute of Housing

On Saturday, 6 June 2026, the CIHAPB, together with The HKIH held a hybrid career talk at HKU for students enrolled in the Master of Urban Studies and Housing Management programme.

During the talk, committee members from the two institutes:
- Explained each institute’s structure
- Introduced the latest technologies and techniques in property management
- Described different types of properties and their day-to-day operational models
- Clarified the distinction between facilities management and property management
- Outlined typical career ladders and professional development pathways

Two recent graduates working in Hong Kong’s facilities management sector shared their career journeys and daily work experiences, encouraging attendees to consider careers in property and facilities management.

Several students from various Chinese Mainland provinces expressing hopes of building their careers in Hong Kong after graduation. In the discussion session, they explored:
- Further study options in property management
- Effective résumé writing strategies
- The importance of learning Cantonese for working in Hong Kong

We sincerely hope that, through this career talk, students have gained the key insights and practical knowledge needed to succeed in Hong Kong’s property management industry and to make the most of their abilities. We look forward to collaborating with various professional bodies to jointly advance the development of the property management profession.

香港城市大學學生大灣區考察

特許房屋經理學會亞太分會（CIHAPB）繼續支持香港城市大學「文學碩士(房屋及都市管理)」（MAHUM）課程，共同推動具前瞻性的實地考察學習。

作為長期認可的課程，CIHAPB今年特意為 60 位 MAHUM 學員安排以「大灣區城市融合及物業管理破舊立新」為主題的兩日一夜考察團。在2026年5月23日至2026年5月24日，學員親身走訪了橫琴及深圳多個具代表性的項目，包括：

· 中糧前海創新中心
· 逸蘭瓏灣國際人才公寓
· 后海聯想中心

學生藉此深入了解大灣區城市融合、產業導入、社區營運及物業管理的最新實踐。

活動特別邀請到勵駿龐都廣場營運副總監謝蘭芳女士及臻林國際康養度假園區市場總監官旻均先生，分享橫琴的政策與法律法規差異，剖析跨境協作的機遇與挑戰。

吳沂城博士以「破舊立新，邁向高質量發展 — 物業管理行業 2026 展望」為題勉勵同學以專業、ESG 及創新思維，回應行業轉型與社會大眾的期望。

本次考察團讓他們更清晰認識課程與 CIHAPB 認可制度的銜接，為日後申請特許會員資格及加入深圳物業管理經理人學會（SIPM）奠定基礎。

City University of Hong Kong Students' Greater Bay Area Study Tour

The Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch (CIHAPB) continued its support for the Master of Arts in Housing and Urban Management (MAHUM) programme at City University of Hong Kong by co-organising a forward-looking study tour.

To support its validated course, the CIHAPB organised a two-day, one-night study tour on 23-24 May 2026 joined by 60 MAHUM students focused on “Greater Bay Area Urban Integration and Innovation in Property Management.” The delegation visited several landmark projects in Hengqin and Shenzhen, including:
· Serensia Woods International Health and Wellness Resort
· COFCO Qianhai Innovation Centre
· Lanson Place Grand Bayview International Talent Apartments
· Lenovo Center, Houhai

The tour provided students with insights into the latest practices in Greater Bay Area (GBA) urban integration, industrial development, community operations, and property management.

Ms. Xie Lanfang, Deputy Operations Director of Ponto Legend, and Mr. Koon Min-Kwun, Marketing Director of Serensia Woods International Health and Wellness Resort, were invited to share perspectives on Hengqin’s regulatory differences, analyzing the opportunities and challenges of cross-border collaboration.

Dr. Wu Yicheng delivered a presentation titled “Breaking the Old, Building the New: Outlook for the Property Management Industry in 2026”, encouraging students to embrace professionalism, ESG principles, and innovation to respond proactively to industry transformation and societal expectations.

The tour clarified the connection between the MAHUM programme and CIHAPB’s framework, laying a foundation for their future applications for CIH Chartered Membership and admission to the Shenzhen Institute of Property Manager (SIPM) through the relevant bridging mechanism.

特許房屋經理學會亞太分會主席鄺立信先生於2026年5月20日率領30位會員交流團前往深圳，行程安排如下：

1. 上午：參觀位於前海、配套完善的海逸蘭瓏灣人才公寓

2. 下午：
- 參觀中國最高等高樓──369米高的星河雙子塔，涵蓋電子商務、資訊、數字創意、金融創新及機器人街區等多項產業; 並登上雙子塔頂層停機坪，俯瞰深圳全貌。

- 隨後前往智能機器人生產商優必選科技股份有限公司的展示廳，了解並觀摩其研發的新一代高性能工業人形機器人

是次考察旨在加強亞太區物業管理專業人員的交流，並深化對新一代人形機器人發展及人工智能應用的認識。

Exchange Visit to Shenzhen and Robot Valley

On 20 May 2026, Mr. Keith Kwong, Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch, led a delegation of 30 members to Shenzhen. Their itinerary was as follows:

1. Morning: Toured of Lanson Place Grand Bayview in Qianhai, a fully equipped residential complex for professionals.

2. Afternoon:
- Visited to Galaxy Twin Towers, China’s tallest Grade-A office building at 369 meters, which houses e-commerce, information services, digital creativity, fintech innovation and a dedicated robotics district. Delegation also ascended to the rooftop helipad for a panoramic view of Shenzhen.

- Toured of the UBTECH Robotics exhibition hall to learn about and observe their next-generation, high-performance industrial humanoid robots Walker S2.

This study tour aimed to strengthen communication among property management professionals across the Asia-Pacific region and deepened their understanding of next generation humanoid robot development and AI applications.

2026年5月3日–5月22日，特許房屋經理學會（CIH）派遣英國課程認證專家Paddy Gray教授，聯同特許房屋經理學會亞太分會（CIHAPB）執行委員會成員，先後到中國內地、澳門與香港的多所大學及院校，對其開設的物業管理課程進行認證審核，並實地考察校園設施設備。

第一階段（內地＋澳門）考察已圓滿完成，初步評審結果令人滿意； 第二階段（香港）課程評審覆檢，與設施考察亦在進行中！

CIHAPB 攜手各類型教育機構，積極推動物業管理專業化，致力為行業培養更多優秀專業人才，將繼續深耕教學質量，助力學院與業界緊密接軌！

Course Accreditation Experts Validate Asia-Pacific Professional Housing Management Programmes 🌟

From 3–22 May 2026, the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) appointed UK accreditation specialist Professor Paddy Gray, alongside members of the Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch (CIHAPB) Executive Committee, to conduct on-site reviews of property management degree programmes and campus facilities across Chinese Mainland, Macao, and Hong Kong.

* Phase 1 (Chinese Mainland and Macao) has been successfully completed with very positive preliminary findings.

* Phase 2 (Hong Kong) — including course re-evaluations and facility inspections — is currently in full swing!

CIHAPB is partnering with a wide range of educational institutions to advance the professionalisation of property management and cultivate top-tier industry talent and commit to enhancing teaching quality and strengthening the link between academia and industry.
