Who is buying in Croatia and why we still see rise of prices:
🐬 Croats and some foreigners collect quite large sums of money during summer seasons. They don't like to keep that money on banks, instead they buy new real estate
🐬 there is a trend of returning Croats from west European countries. Since entering EU (but also long time before) many Croats went to work in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, recently even Ireland. As situation in such countries is worsening and Croatia is doing quite well, specially in tourism - many of them see chance to work and live better in old homeland. When they sell some property in the west, they have quite enough money to buy in Croatia
🐬 Croatia is traditionally "westernized" country (most population speak English) and individuals from all over Europe feel themselves very comfortable here. Therefore - many of middle and higher class persons - invest their profits and savings into real estate in Croatia
🐬 last but not the least, Croatia is seen as very safe country, with very few non Europeans who could produce any problems (to the contrary to - let's say Germany). Some people openly say, they are escaping to Croatia for security reasons. Well, such times we live in...
So - do not wait for any price correction in Croatia. As longer you wait, as higher amount of money you will have to show ☺️
