There are beautiful views over Makarska, the Adriatic Sea and the islands. picturesque town with many activities for tourists. It is conveniently located between Split and Dubrovnik and has the majestic Biovovo Mountains (up to 1,800 metres) in the background and the crystal clear water from the Adriatic Sea in the front. After a day of strolling in the old town, you can spend the evening on the Marineta Promenade. There are numerous cafés, restaurants and shops. The seaports Omis or Split with a city flair are worth seeing. The town centre is inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
