Today, on our beautiful island of Cres, in the village of Valun, the feast of St. Mark was solemnly celebrated. 🌿
The program began with a mass in a small church at the cemetery, followed by a traditional procession with the blessing of the fields – a custom that has been carefully preserved here for generations.
After the spiritual part, the gathering continued with light refreshments, the sounds of the meh, and a special charm brought by the youngest participants through their recitations in the Valun dialect. ❤️
Moments like these remind us how important tradition, community, and simple joys are in everyday life on Cres.
