If you are looking for a quiet place to relax your body and ease your mind while enjoying sunny weather and beautiful beaches, Mlini might be just the right place for you. Mlini is a small picturesque village located about 7 kilometers south from the old town of Dubrovnik. With its intact beauty, rich vegetation, stunning beaches, as well as its historical and cultural heritage, Mlini has won num
erous awards for best tourist destination in Croatia. Mlini, situated between freshwater springs, was known for its flour mills (its name is, in fact, the local word for mills), which now make a lovely sight for photography lovers. These fast freshwater currents are inhabitated by flocks of ducks. There is a small harbor in the center of Mlini, as well as a beautiful promenade by the sea with many cafe bars and restaurants. The bay of Mlini is full of beaches, sandy, pebble stone and rocky, and there is a hidden nudist beach, as well. Amongst other activities, Mlini offers diving excursions, water skiing, boat, car or bike rentals, fish picnics on the Elaphiti Islands, historic tours of Dubrovnik, and many others. Guests with children can enjoy several playgrounds, including a Waldorf playground located at the outskirts of a lovely pine wood park just above the beach. Grocery stores, bakeries, shops, cash machines and a pharmacy are within walking distance. Our house/apartment is located just two minutes away from the sea, in a a nice and quiet area above the village center. It is surrounded by trees and Mediterranean vegetation. The apartment is newly built and decorated and has airconditioning, free Wi-Fi internet and satellite LCD TV. It's a one-bedroom suite with a double bed and wardrobe, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine, microwave oven, toaster), dining area, bathroom with a shower and hair dryer, and a living room with a sofa bed. The apartment also has a terrace/balcony and a free shaded parking spot. We also offer transport to and from the airport and car rentals. Mlini is connected with downtown Dubrovnik through established, regular bus lines. The bus station is only 5 minutes away from the apartment and the local busses arrive every half hour to an hour on their way from Dubrovnik to Cavtat, or vice versa. The ride to either of these places takes about 15 minutes. There are also regular boat lines to and from Dubrovnik. The harbor is 5 minutes away and boats depart several times a day, going to Dubrovnik, the island of Lokrum or Cavtat. Bus and boat schedules, as well as maps of the area are available at the apartment. Various organized excursions and day trips to sourrounding islands and nearby destinations, such as Mljet and Korcula islands, Peljesac peninsula, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, are also available.
