The question we get most often is which one.

Sole, Aqua and Terra sit on the same estate, and the right one depends entirely on who you are bringing. A couple wants something different than three families travelling together.

Every guest asks us where to eat. This is the actual answer.

3 konobas near the villas. Family kitchens, short menus, local wines and olive oils.

Two of them close one day a week, so check before you drive. For all three it is worth booking a table, and we will do that for you if you ask.

5 towns, and none of them take a full day.

Bale is twenty minutes away and almost nobody stops there. Rovinj is twenty five, best in the last hour of light. Grožnjan is a hilltop of galleries and open windows with music coming out of them. Motovun sits above the truffle forest. Hum has two streets and around twenty residents, which makes it officially the smallest town in the world.

All of them are better before the buses arrive, or after they leave.
