Here is another nice and comfortable mountain lodge in Split-Dalmatian region. Enjoy Dalmatia brings you mountain lodge Sveti Jakov (St. James) in the Dalmatian hinterland, micro-location Gornji Bitelic. Its name is associated with the 200m distant foundations of the former chapel of St. James from the 15th century.
Located on m. Troglav at 1001m altitude, the lodge is a nice and fully equipped two-floor house that consists of a living room, kitchen and three bedrooms that can accommodate up to 20 persons. The lodge is maintained by the mountaineering association Sveti Jakov at Gornji Bitelic.

Let’s continue with presenting nice and cozy mountain lodges in the Dalmatian region. Today Enjoy Dalmatia brings you mountain lodge Promina in Sibenik hinterland. Located on Promina at 850m altitude, the lodge is a large brick building with a living room, kitchen and six spacious dormitories that can accommodate up to 50 people. It was built by the mountaineering association Promina from Drnis. It was devastated in the Homeland War, but was thoroughly rebuilt after the war. Located in central Dalmatia, near Split, Trogir is the perfect place to plan a day trip during spring or summer. It lies on a small island connected to the mainland by bridges.
Trogir is known for having a historic centre which is considered the most preserved medieval town in central Europe. It is often referred to by many tourists as an open museum due to the series of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque structures found in the town. Everywhere you look, there is beautiful architecture, stunning sea views, and palm trees. Also, Trogir’s Old Town was voted the best city-island in the world by National Geographic in 2015, so it is not a place you want to miss!

Located on mountain Kozjak, Malačka peak at 477 m altitude. It is famous for its spectacular view of the sea, Kastela Riviera and Split. It is very easily accessible (by car) so it’s suitable for all grades of walkers. The lodge has a living area, kitchen and sanitary area with its own water tank, it can accommodate up to 50 people – one of more comfortable lodges in this area.
