Bačvice beach

[THROWBACK THURSDAY]

🇭🇷 Kao što vidite na ovoj fotografiji iz 1903. godine, plaža Bačvice bila je popularna prije više od stotinu godina, kao i sada. "Mala" razlika bila je u tome što su muškarci i žene bili odvojeni visokom drvenom ogradom. Muški posjetitelji plaže prihvatili su to kao izazov; onaj tko se mogao popeti dovoljno visoko da zaviri na drugu stranu, možda je mogao ugledati goli gležanj neke dame ili možda čak i rame. 😎

🇬🇧 As you can see in this 1903 photo, Bačvice beach was as popular more than a hundred years ago as it is now. "Slight" difference was that men and women were separated with a tall wooden fence. Male beachgoers took it as a challenge; who can climb high enough to take a peek to another side, maybe to spot some lady's bare ankle or maybe even shoulder. 😎
