Kada ženka veverice pronađe ostavljeno mladunče druge veverice, daje joj hranu, i uverava se da je siroče bez majke i oca. Nakon tri dana, pošto proveri da je zaista bez roditelja, ona ga uzima sebi, nežno ga hrani i upoznaje sa svojom porodicom.

Ženka veverica je jedinstvena po tome što srdačno dočekuje svog muža kada se vraća sa hranom uz poljupce i udvarajući mu se da bi lakše podnosio napor dok sakuplja hranu njoj i njenim mladuncima.

Mužjak veverica uvek iskazuje ljubav svojoj ženki dajući joj najlepše cveće, najkrupnije orahe ili bademe.

Veverice su divni roditelji i prelepa porodica od čijih aktivnosti zavisi budućnost čovečanstva.

Pola semena koje sakriju postaju novi grmovi u šumi.
