Why the 5th district is so popular!

- District V runs along side the beautiful Danube river in the middle of the city centre.
- This is downtown Budapest, where business life, banks and many cultural and historical sights can be found.
- The main tourist attractions are also located in this district, such as the famous shopping street Vaci utca, the beautiful Belgrad and Jane Haining Riverbank.
- Also here you can find the second biggest Parliament in Europe built in a gorgeus gothic revival style. One of the most significant tourist attractions, the St. Stephen’s Basilica is located in the 5th district as well.
