To assist and support the Business Development Manager in the effective delivery of marketing activity, both scheduled and ad hoc, and to seek out new client and referrer relationship opportunities in line with departmental business development plans. To also assist to further develop and deliver the firm’s multi-channel marketing plan, using digital and online techniques to increase the firm’s brand profile, communication, enquiry generation and conversion

Key Accountabilities:
Business Representation
• To communicate with potential clients
and referrers of work in a positive,
professional and friendly manner
• To ensure that all queries received
from clients, potential clients and
referrers of work are handled
efficiently and that information
provided to them, or any involved third
parties, is accurate and timely.
Customer Relationship Management systems & database maintenance
• To utilise various CRM systems and
databases (including but not limited to
SOS Connect, Salesforce, web based
marketing subscriber lists, Excel) to
manage customer and referrer contact
data and communication records
• To maintain departmental
client/referrer target lists
• To maintain customer enquiry data for
various departments • To cleanse and
update contact data on an ongoing
basis
Appointment generation
• To work from a list of target
clients/referrers of work to generate
meeting opportunities, through a
mixture of direct mail, newsletters,
follow up and cold calling
• To maintain a log of communication
and marketing activity associated with
target clients/referrers of work
General marketing administration
• To provide general administrative
support to Business Development
Manager as and when required
• To prepare presentations, reports,
correspondence and documents
where appropriate
• To ensure that any client, potential
client or referrer
documentation/contact information,
both paper and electronic, is
organised and stored correctly and
securely, in line with the firm’s data
protection policy
