Tom, l'un des fondateurs de SAMARA, nous a guidés à travers le site et a partagé sa vision. Actuellement, plus de 400 personnes travaillent sur le site, renforçant ainsi l'économie locale.

Indonesia has announced the upcoming launch of a "Golden Visa" by the Department of Immigration. This new visa category aims to attract international talent and boost the Indonesian economy through a residency-by-investment policy. Minister for Tourism and Creative Economies, Sandiaga Uno, made the announcement from the Vice Presidential Palace on May 29th. The Golden Visa aims to attract global talent in sectors such as digital, health, research, and technology. It is expected to offer exclusive benefits, including streamlined visa processes, longer stay periods, and the right to own assets in Indonesia. Minister Uno hopes that the Golden Visa will encourage more international citizens to explore the country and contribute to its economy. Specific details about application requirements and costs are yet to be announced. The differences between the Golden Visa and the existing Second Home Visa category are also unclear at this point.

Minister Uno did not provide a specific timeline for the launch of the Golden Visa but expressed enthusiasm, calling it a potential game changer for attracting tourists, digital nomads, and entrepreneurs. He recommended the B211a visa for digital nomads working remotely in Bali. For regular holidaymakers, the visa on arrival at IDR 500,000 is still suitable, allowing a 30-day stay extendable for an additional 30 days.

Sandiaga Uno, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, expressed his delight with the achievement and emphasized Bali's ability to provide world-class attractions, urging Indonesians to explore their own country rather than traveling abroad. The hope is that other Indonesian archipelago destinations will also gain popularity among both local and international tourists in the future.

TripAdvisor's rankings for the top ten most popular destinations in the world for 2023 revealed Bali's success as the second most sought-after global destination. With its enchanting beauty and diverse offerings, Bali continues to captivate travelers and establish its position as a premier tourist hotspot.
