Lombok Airport Provides 400 Boxes of Iftar Meal during Ramadan
TEMPO.CO, Mataram - The organizer of Lombok International Airport (LIA) provides 400 boxes of meal for iftar (fast-breaking) every day during Ramadan for passengers who are at the airport terminal to maintain a good relationship with the passengers.
The meal would be given starting from the first day of fasting month of Ramadan or 17 May at 17:30 local time. In the total of full one month, there will be 12,500 boxes of iftar meal provided.
Lombok Airport General Manager I Gusti Ngurah Ardita said the activities were carried out by the airport's ambassadors and customer service officers at three points, namely at the arrival area, the domestic waiting room and the international waiting room.
"We want to share to passengers, both who are arriving and departing," said Ngurah Ardita, Saturday, May 18.
Previously, he mentioned that Lombok International Airport had been nominated as a friendly airport for Muslim tourists. The distribution of iftar food is one of the concerns and as a means to share blessings in Ramadan with the passengers who are fasting.
Since before the fast-breaking time at 17:30 to 19:00 local time, there are 15 domestic and international flights, both arrival and departure.
