Jatiluhur Industrial Smart City (JISC) is preparing a modern, integrated worker apartment designed to provide decent and affordable housing within the industrial estate in Purwakarta.
The development plan was reviewed directly by the Minister of Housing and Residential Areas (PKP), Maruarar Sirait (Bang Ara), accompanied by officials from the Ministry of PKP and the JISC management team. The attendees were the Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi and the Regent of Purwakarta, Saepul Bahri Binzein, along with representatives of the local government (14/4/2026).

🏫 Planned supporting facilities: schools, possibly hospitals, and a public market
“There will be schools, possibly hospitals, and if possible, a public market,” said the Minister of PKP.
“So the concept is that people don’t need to go outside anymore. No need to deal with traffic, no need to leave the area, because everything is here,” he stated.
This project supports the government’s 3 million housing program and reflects JISC’s commitment to building an integrated industrial ecosystem — where people can live, work, and grow in one strategic location.
