The number of second-hand homes for sale in Ireland has increased slightly, but availability remains well below pre-covid levels.

🏠 On 1st March, there were 10,143 second-hand homes for sale nationwide, up 6% year-on-year.

πŸ“‰ However, supply remains tight:
β€’ Availability is still less than half of the 2015–2019 average
β€’ Current stock is down 61% compared with pre-covid levels
β€’ Almost 54,000 homes were listed in the year to end-February, up 5% year-on-year

Despite this increase, listings remain around 10% below the 2015–2019 average, showing that supply continues to lag behind historical norms.
