This is what happens when Jack steals a flower pot!! Rips it to shreds in seconds! And Charley just looks on waiting for him to finish so she can get us to throw pieces for her!! Crazy springers!!

We had a new visitor to the garden on Saturday. A hummingbird hawk moth. Never saw one before. They come from continental Europe during the summer. But are now possibly becoming resident and breeding here.

Latest addition to the flock, a couple of Quail chicks born last night. We just put some of our own Quail eggs under a broody bantam hen and 16 days later they hatched out. 🐣🐤

Final egg hatched yesterday but the chick is very weak and probably won't survive unfortunately .
Ended up with 14 new borns. A couple of weeks under a heat should do wonders for them 🐣🐥🐤

We're up to 6 chicks now with more already pipping in the incubator. Unfortunately one didn't make it, but such is life.
