This is the heart of Kerry Dark Sky region, ideal for day trips along the Skellig Ring Drive, a boat trip to Skellig Michael, fishing horseback riding along the beach, Ahamore Abbey ruins, stone forts, walks along the Derrynane Mass Path and Kerry Way. Pets are permitted only with prior arrangement. Our house name is based on "Thidwick the Big-Hearted Moose", by Dr Seuss. It is the story of a soft-hearted moose who allows a host of animals to live in his horns before learning the limits of hospitality.
