Believe it or not we are already making plans for Festival of the Sea 2026!!

We have the dates for your calendars - Friday 31st July to Sunday 9th August 🗓️

You can expect the best of last years festival with a return of JP Mc Mahon and a rumour that he’ll be cooking something very tasty 🦞 😉, the best table quiz in Ireland, kayaking, walking, golfing, art exhibition, and kids events such as crafts, sports day, badminton and shore walking.

Festival of the Sea 2026 will also include some great new events with dancing, darts and the return of the Cleggan Regatta all being organised already.

You can expect the same craic, the same community effort and we can’t wait to welcome you back to our villages of Cleggan and Claddaghduff!

Great location, wonderful view, comfortable and fully furnished house, precise and thoughtful advise, we loved everything.
We particularly enjoyed the advised walks around Cleggan directly from the bothy to spectacular locations

Great stay, very peaceful, close to everything. Ambiance chez Oliver's bar!!
Listing in line with reality, the owners are very kind and responsive.
The house is cozy, well thought out in its layout, the decor with taste.

Another lovely review from a guest after a recent visit. Tea strainer on its way!

"What a delightful setting. Looking out of the window was the wonderful view of Cleggan Bay. The place itself was very well appointed with everything you could want: kitchen equipment, advice on local walks etc. a comfortable bed, powerful shower and all very warm and snug. My only request would be a tea strainer for those of us who can't abide tea bags!! Oh, and the weather was typically Irish: rain and grey skies but on the days when it was clear the views very spectacular.
I'll be back."
