Minnie blessed us with this gorgeous c**t born a week ago on St Patrick's Day 😍 3 white socks and a lovely big blaze, we have named him Paddy he is by Cashelane Murphy couldn't be happier with him and Minnie is doing so well being a maiden mare ❤️

And that's the end of the breeding side of things, just heart beat scans in the next couple weeks left.
Very successful season as number nine scanned in foal today. Betsy was in foal to King earlier in the season but unfortunately at the heart beat check there was nothing there. Now she's in foal to the only Percheron known to be at stud in Ireland imported from France only a short while ago. Very excited to see what this young stallion produces with Betsy next year!

Hoping the heart beat scans on the mares are all good and we just have to patiently wait then until 2025 😊
Couldn't have done it without the help of everyone involved from vets to the stud owners and also friends and family.

Number 6 and 7
Lizzie scanned 15 days in foal to Rocky last week.
Finally after a few attempts Madge belonging to Emily Haworth is after scanning 16 days in foal 90 percent convinced it is to King but small possibility of it being Rockys just have to wait and see 🤭

I am currently tearing up writing this but today our lives got a little bit heavier at the loss of our first born foal this year 😢 unfortunately despite our best efforts along with our team of vets and farriers there was nothing more we could do. It came down to a decision of quality of life and unfortunately it was looking like he wouldn't have had a good outcome if we continued on with the treatments. Apache thank you for the last few months you thought us all despite being born with a mobility issue that life does not have to be boring. We will miss your little neighs and you bounding round the field, and always wanting to have cuddles. You will be sadly missed. Rest easy sweet boy your no longer in pain 💔

Our 3rd and final foal arrived yesterday morning. A gorgeous palomino filly by Crowns Wonder Pearl After a bit of a rocky start all is now amazing. To the people who helped us out yesterday with everything it's very much appreciated. Delighted to have foaling season 2024 over with but here's to 2025 💪

This year's foals will be available at weaning so don't be afraid to give us a message if one takes your fancy 😉

At 4.30 this morning we welcomed our second foal of the year a stunning black filly by Cashelane Murphy out of Betsy. Absolutely delighted with this big filly 😊
