Looking for a great day trip from the house? How about you head over to Killarney for the day. Places of interest include Ring of Kerry, Ladies View, Molls Gap, and the lakes of Killarney. Also check out Muckross House and Gardens. Make the loop and check out Kenmare as well.

When you're in the area, check out the town! Lots of local shops, all unique in its own way. If you are in need of groceries, there are 2 Centras and a Supervalu that will have what you need.

A great place to have in dinner in town is The Wallis Arms. They have excellent food and great dinner specials. Awesome atmosphere for a pint as well!

Blarney castle is about 40 minutes away! Definately worth a stop there to kiss the Blarney Stone and walk the beautiful gardens. A great place to shop at Blarney Woolen Mills.
