Hi, I'm Jill! And in this one image of the last time I visited, you can see the fun touches that warmed up this lovely place. There is the pine bookcase my dear friend, Karen, from Toronto transformed with fun paint colors, my wall painting of the front garden, "Gracie" the sheep, named after my mom and made by Ian Buckett which I bought at An Galleria Beag in Di**le... and if you look carefully, you'll see a bit of the gorgeous lambs wool throw I picked up in Di**le on the waterfront, while wandering shops after dinner one night. I could not be happier with how it looks for our guests, some already having stayed! This story is far from over! My heart is grateful for each of you who continue on this journey with me. Now, maybe it's your turn to enjoy...! 🍀💕

In full disclosure, sometimes it rains in Ireland. It’s why it’s so green! It’s also why we layer here (and always have a good rain jacket!) But I’m taking this quiet foggy morning to lean out my bedroom window and listen to lambs calling their mamas and to thank God for this magical place. (And to crawl back under the covers with a cuppa tae!) ☺️ Take 20 seconds to listen and to calm your mind with me if you like? My gift to you til you can come and make your own special moments!

The great room is warm and cozy and filled with special touches that reflect our location on the O'Connors sheep farm. Can you see yourself snuggled up here, watching the fire while dinner is being prepared - or sipping a hot cuppa tae in the early morning, watching the sun come up in the south-facing windows? Come visit... we're waiting for you! 🍀🐑💚 (p.s. Can you see "Jilly" dreaming of climbing the mountain out the window? "Gracie" is the other sheep... you'll have to look for her yourself!)
