We've now started to replace our internal florescent lighting with energy-efficient LEDs which will use about 10% of the power. Block 100 has been completed and other blocks will start shortly.

The refurbishments to SEL apartments are ongoing and nearing completion. Once these are done we'll be replacing the carpets in the common areas (corridors) with a high-quality tile, and installing grass in the courtyard where we have removed the lawn where we had drainage issues.

Our recycling rate for rubbish has improved slightly but is still very low. You can recycle CLEAN paper, plastics, cartons, boxes, cans, tins etc on the RIGHT side of the bin area. The left hand area is for unseparated waste and non-recycling (food remains, vacuum cleaner waste, dirty tissues/wrappers etc). Please DO NOT put this type of waste in the recycling bins!

We have now contracted work to reduce the problem of pigeon dirt caused by nesting in some blocks. Once done areas affected will be cleaned up :)

Work on the window sills at New Street is now complete. We will shortly also replace damaged glass to help make the front look better...

Improvements coming! The old steel window ledges at the front of the building will soon be replaced with stonework which we hope will improve the look of our building!

Improvements coming! As well as repainting all the gates, we will be replacing parts of the vehicle gate mechanism to improve reliability and quietness...

New landscaping! Hopefully you will have noticed recent improvements to our planters and flower beds, which should help make the courtyard a more pleasant place!

We've had a few false fire alarms recently - due to emergency fire buttons being pressed! Please ensure you and your family are aware that these are for emergency use only!

We are working to improve the response time for identifying and turning off false alarms. Additional fire information will be circulated to residents shortly m

Let us know if you see something broken! In any apartment block, light bulbs will fail, or door locks or intercoms can break! You can help us keep everything ship-shape - so please let us know if something's not working so that we can sort it out!

A lot of work is on-going behind the scenes to determine the cause of recent hot water outages. This is being taken very seriously and we are hopeful of finding a solution very soon, and we'll soon be implementing an automated monitoring system to ensure any future issues are fixed even faster!
