Yesterday, our Planning and Infrastructure Taskforce visited the Glass Bottle site, a key strategic development that will deliver much-needed housing for Dublin.

While this project represents significant progress, its success depends on being fully integrated with frequent and reliable public transport, including BusConnects spines and a future Luas extension to Poolbeg.

Connectivity and accessibility must go hand-in-hand with housing delivery to ensure sustainable, liveable communities.

This morning, we kicked off our Dublin Agenda event, exploring how Irish businesses can navigate deglobalisation and seize new opportunities.

With insights from Michael Lohan CEO of IDA Ireland, and Robert Kelly, Director of Economics & Statistics at the Central Bank of Ireland, we discussed the future of trade, local opportunities, and global challenges.

As Dublin continues to evolve as Ireland’s economic powerhouse, conversations like these are essential for shaping a resilient, competitive, and inclusive future.

We were delighted to meet Lord Mayor of Dublin, Cllr this morning in the Mansion House.

The Office of Lord Mayor has been a member of Dublin Chamber since our founding in 1783 and we were pleased to keep that relationship strong with Cllr Blain and took the opportunity to speak to her about the issues affecting the City and how we can be constructive partners to ensure Dublin is a great place to live, work and run a business.
