This beautiful new accommodation is situated in a quiet location with lovely views of countryside and Knocknagoshel village. It has many features for the disabled including access by ramp, Shower on floor level with room for wheelchair access, remote con
trol window, disabled toilet and sink with handrails. Knocknagoshel is in North Kerry and is an unspoilt village with 3 pubs all with their own distinctive atmospheres. There is also a village shop, post –office and church. There are traditional sessions on a Friday night in O’Connors pub. This is a village where the welcome is still great and there are some festivals during the summer months. Knocknagoshel is a good base to explore the rest of Kerry, Tralee is 20 minutes by car, the gateway to Di**le and home of The Rose of Tralee. Killarney is about 40 minutes drive with all it offers, The National Park, Muckross House, jaunting cars etc. Also explore the ring of Kerry. Listowel is a 30 minute drive, catch a play at the JB. Keane pub (summer months), or visit St Johns Theatre a year round venue with music plays etc. Listowel also hosts its famous writer’s week. For children, there are two donkeys Milo and Jake, who loved to be patted and two horses. Nearby is Crag cave which apart from the cave itself, has a wonderful play facility for children and also has a good restaurant. In Tralee there is Toby's world (another play area for children) and a wonderful swimming pool with slides, wave machine etc. There is also a sauna room for adults. New this year is a nature viewing platform with boat rides. Teach Sióg is very close to Kerry airport, only a 20 minute drive. It is also accessible from Shannon airport - approx 1.5 hours, and Cork airport - approx 2 hours. Dublin is approx 3.5-4 hours. It is also accessible from the Ferry ports at Cork, Rosslare etc. So what’s stopping you come and have a break where you can see hares and rabbits hop by your door.
