MUNGRET SECONDARY SCHOOL UPDATE: Liam O’Mahoney has been appointed to the positon of Principal of the New Community College, Mungret/Raheen to become effective on the 1st February, 2017.

Liam, a graduate of NUI Maynooth, has an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree; Honours H. Dip.; Graduate Diploma in Educational Mentoring; Honours Certificate in Educational Leadership and Management and an Honours Masters of Education.

Liam has a total of twenty eight years teaching experience – initially in Tarbert Comprehensive and then in Castletroy College where he has gained broad experience in School Management as Assistant Principal .
Liam is currently Principal in St. John Bosco Community College, Kildysart were he has played a significant role in developing the school. .

Liam is also Chairman of Munster Post Primary Schools GAA. Liam has a love of sports and also enjoys golf, running and walking.

I wish Liam every possible success and happiness in his new role as Principal of New Community College, Mungret/Raheen, Limerick.
