This morning, along the peaceful river Blackwater, one little local seemed completely unbothered by the world around him.
Perched high in the branches, this robin soaked up the early sunshine as our visitors wandered quietly through the grounds. With his bright red chest glowing against the blue sky, he looked like he owned the whole tree — and perhaps, for a moment, he did.
Our Australian visitor paused on the riverside path long enough to capture the scene: a tiny reminder that some of the best moments at Nano Nagle’s Birthplace are the unexpected ones. Birds singing overhead, sunlight through the leaves, and nature carrying on peacefully beside a place filled with history.
Sometimes the morning’s most important visitor isn’t listed in any guidebook 😎🙏.
