Davitt & Davitt was founded in 1981 by Patrick Davitt, who started his business in Castlepollard. Pat joined the Sherry FitzGerald group in 1999 after setting up a new branch in Mullingar. The Davitt name has been associated with auctioneering since William Davitt, a relation of Pat’s, took out his first licence in 1904, a business that operated until 1956. The Mullingar office is situated on Dominick Street, one of the main streets in this thriving town and all our auctions are held here in our bright modern auction room. Mullingar has a high population with excellent schools and amenities and is within easy access of the M4, making Dublin only a 50 minute drive away. The company offers the following services:
