Owning in Israel is a lot more than another piece of real estate.

It means owning a piece of your heart, of who you are.

That’s what I talked about yesterday with JNS producer Barbara Hanimov.

We both agreed that buying overseas is a huge undertaking, but when you’re talking about coming home, it has a whole different feel.

And of course, it’s so much easier when you have a buyer’s advocate looking out for your interests every step of the way :-)

News flash for the haters out there:

We’ve been praying toward the Land of Israel and Jerusalem for close to two thousand years.

We end every wedding with words of longing and prayers for Jerusalem.

Jerusalem is mentioned in the Jewish Bible more than 660 times.

Long before social media, long before politics, long before modern headlines, the Jewish connection to the Land of Israel was written into our prayers, our holidays, our history, and our hearts.

Haters gonna hate. And people who probably can’t find Israel on a map are going to join them.

We’d rather sit down and talk over coffee.

But since they’re not up for that, we choose to ignore them.

Because for us, the Land of Israel isn’t just an idea.

It's home.
