URGENT ACTION ALERT: Should the Democrats cave to anti-Israel groups that demonize harass Jewish students on campus! Demand that Schumer stop stonewalling the Marcus nomination so that the US Department of Education can stop rising anti-Semitism on campus! Emails and sample letter below.

Dear Senator Schumer and key staffers,
I urge that you stop stonewalling the Marcus nomination and (1) assure that the vote happens quickly, that it be placed on the Calendar as soon as possible, packaged with similar nominees; (2) pass a unanimous consent agreement such that the minority doesn’t demand 30 hours of debate; and (3) help galvanize Democrats to support the nomination.
This month, an intersectional alliance of 51 NYU student groups cut ties with all student groups that support Israel—meaning all Jewish student groups with the exception the JVP, a group that embraces the anti-Semitic belief that Jews alone—among the all other groups—do not have the right to self-determination or the right to even non-violent means of self-defense.
Like the Sephardic Jews in Spain who were given the choice between converting or death, NYU Jewish students now face the decision between freedom from harassment and social isolation or standing up for their own basic human rights.
Rather than taking a stand against this, Senator Schumer is choosing to appease the anti-Semitic groups who are clamoring against the Marcus nomination because they would like to be unfettered in their demonization of Israel and their targeting of Jewish students.
I urge you to take action to support the Marcus nomination.
