Israeli designer Galia Lahav has reached an extraordinary milestone: she is now ranked No. 2 among the worldโs leading bridal couture designers.
Her gowns have been worn by Beyoncรฉ, Jennifer Lopez, Sydney Sweeney, Gal Gadot and Christina Aguilera, while she has designed wedding dresses for stars including Millie Bobby Brown.
Yet Lahavโs story began far from the international fashion capitals. At 37, she was still teaching arts and crafts at a school in Ashdod. Four decades later, the Israeli designer has built a global luxury fashion house with flagship stores around the world.
Despite her international success, Lahav says she still feels โ100 percent Israeli.โ
