गुजरात के धोलेरा में बनेगा नया ग्रीनफील्ड एयरपोर्ट , कैबिनेट ने दी मंजूरी 2025 में बनकर होगा तैयार

नई दिल्ली: गुजरात के अहमदाबाद के पास धोलेरा में बनेगा नया ग्रीन फील्ड एयरपोर्ट। मंगलवार को कैबिनेट की बैठक इसकी मंजूरी मिल गई। करीब 1305 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनने वाला ये एयरपोर्ट ना केवल अहमदाबाद के लिये वैकल्पिक एयरपोर्ट होगा। साथ ही कार्गो के लिहाज से भी एक बड़े हब के रूप में विकसित किया जाएगा।

धोलेरा एयरपोर्ट के लिए करीब 1501 हेक्टेयर भूमि अधिग्रहण का काम पूरा कर लिया गया हैं। एयरपोर्ट निर्माण के लिए नई कम्पनी का गठन किया गया है। धोलेरा इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट कंपनी लिमिटेड निर्माण कराएगी। धोलेरा एयरपोर्ट के लिए 51 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया यानी भारत सरकार की रहेगी वहीं गुजरात सरकार की 33 फीसदी और बाकी का 16 फीसदी नेशनल इंडस्ट्रीयल कॉरिडोर डेवलपमेंट ट्रस्ट यानी (एनआईसीडीआईटी) की होगी। पहले फेज के निर्माण की अनुमानित समय 48 महीने रखा गया है। लागत का 40 प्रतिशत धन हिस्सेदारी से आएगा वही 60 प्रतिशत ऋण के रूप में जुटाए जाएंगे।

पैसेंजर के साथ कार्गो हब बनेगा
एयरपोर्ट को यात्रियों के साथ कार्गो की सुविधा होगी। जिससे गतिशक्ति मल्टीमॉडल हब के तौर पर तैयार किया जाएगा। एयरपोर्ट कनेटिविटी के लिहाज से इसे 6 लेन् एक्सप्रेस वे, रैपिड रेल, डीएफसीसी कॉरिडोर से कनेटिविटी और साथ मे रेलवे मेन लाइन के ब्रॉडगेज से भी जोड़ा जाएगा। अहमदाबाद के बाद इसे दूसरे एयरपोर्ट के रूप में देखा जाएगा। पैसेंजर प्रोजेक्शन की बात करे तो पहले साल 3 लाख इसके बाद आने वाले 20 साल बाद 23 लाख प्रति वर्ष यात्री मिलने की उम्मीद है। वही कार्गो की बात करे तो शुरुआत में 20 हजार टन की क्षमता है से शुरू होकर क्षमता 2 लाख 73 हजार टन हो जाएगी।

The first phase of the airport will be constructed at a cost of Rs.1305 crore. Spread over 1500 hectares, the airport is expected to be ready for passenger and cargo operations by 2026.

Ahead of the assembly elections later this year, the BJP government at the Centre has announced a big gift to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's home state Gujarat. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs on Tuesday approved the construction of dholera greenfield airport. Dholera Greenfield is about 80 km from Ahmedabad and will be seen as an alternative to ahmedabad airport. The first phase of the airport will be constructed at a cost of Rs.1305 crore. Spread over 1500 hectares, the airport is expected to be ready for passenger and cargo operations by 2026.

Dholera airport will be connected to broad gauge railways, dedicated freight corridors as well as six lane expressways. It will have a runway of 3000 metres constructed and is expected to handle 3 lakh passengers in the first year. It is expected to go up to 24 lakh passengers in the next 20 years. In addition, 20,000 tonnes of cargo is also expected to be handled in 2025.

The project is being implemented by Dholera International Airport Company Limited (DIACL). DIACL is a joint venture company in which The Airports Authority of India (AAI) holds 51% stake. Besides, the Government of Gujarat (GoG) is also involved with 33% and The National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT) with 16% share.

About Dholera airport, it is said that passenger and cargo traffic will come from the Dholera Special Investment Zone (DSIR) here and is expected to become a major cargo hub to serve its industrial sector. The airport will also cater to the needs of the surrounding area and will serve as the second airport for Ahmedabad.
