Ahmedabad-Botad-Bhavnagar connecting state highway is now open for use.
The Ahmedabad–Dholera Expressway (NE-8) is a 109 km greenfield corridor that connects Sarkhej in Ahmedabad to Adhelai in the Bhavnagar district via the Dholera Special Investment Region. It cuts the travel distance between Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar to 141 km and reduces travel time to about 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Cost: ₹5,800 crore.Lanes: 4 lanes, designed with a 30-meter median for future expansion to 8 lanes.
