The ancient Portuguese churches of Goa are UNESCO world heritage sites. They include Basilica of Bom Jesus, Sé Cathedral. Chapel of St. Catherin built by Alfonso De Albuquerque when he captured goa in 1510. Also Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church of Panjim is also a protected monument.
