With over two decades of experience across real estate development, architecture and civil construction, Shruti brings a cross-disciplinary perspective that connects design, strategy and ex*****on. She leads B.L. Kashyap’s South India operations while contributing to the organisation’s pan-India strategy across projects, people and business growth.

As a construction professional, architect and entrepreneur Shruti has also mentored prop-tech startups and contributed to several industry and advisory platforms. Beyond the built environment, she is a committed advocate for Women in Sports, supporting grassroots women’s football in Karnataka.

“Technology without humanity creates distance.”

If The Hive & The Horizon had to be distilled into one line, Amanda Joy Puravankara has already spoken it.

A hive that must now hold humans and intelligent machines together. A horizon that asks how we adapt without losing what makes us human.

We could not have asked for a better voice to open that conversation.

We are honoured to welcome Amanda Joy Puravankara, Whole-Time Director, Puravankara Limited, as the Opening Keynote Speaker at the WiREnet World Annual Event 2026.

And here is what makes this moment rare: Amanda chooses her rooms carefully. She rarely takes the stage — making her presence on ours all the more meaningful.

Her perspective was built differently, too. She studied Psychology at the University of Southampton before she ever read a term sheet. Her first job was at a holistic healing centre. Only then did she enter the family business, going on to shape it from within — across technology, customer experience, new business, organisational culture, and the full arc of product development, from land acquisition to concept, design and market.

She carries both languages fluently — the human and the built.

It shows in how she reads the market: understanding what homebuyers expect today, where technology is taking the built environment, and how businesses can continue evolving without losing sight of the people they are building for.

An alumna of IIM Bangalore’s Executive General Management Programme and recognised among India’s Top 40 Under 40 entrepreneurs, Amanda has received several honours for her contribution to real estate, innovation and leadership. She is also a committed advocate for women’s empowerment, diversity and inclusion, and a steward of the Devdan Trust, supporting marginalised women and children.

On 18 September, Amanda sets the tone for the day — opening a conversation on leadership, innovation and what it means to remain deeply human in a rapidly changing built environment.
