homepecked brand story
THE BRAND NAME
The brand name ‘homepecked' is a quirky derivation from the much maligned term henpecked. In a positive twist the brand name ‘homepecked' represents someone who is in love with homes. Be it an individual homeowner for the pride of owning one, or a builder/contractor for the satisfaction of building dream homes for others.
The brand name is written in two colours: ‘home' written in green to denote the connect with the earth, on which our homes stand rooted. And ‘pecked' written in blue to signify the happiness we derive from having a home above our head.
THE LOGO
The logo is an inverted image of a footprint. A footprint is the first element that enters a new home. The inverse represents reflection.
The 5 orange dots represent the 5 digits of a foot. Each of the dots represent one of the 5 core values that defines the company’s customer promise:
price discovery, convenience, efficiency, quality and information.
The largest dot right at the centre represents ‘price discovery’ which is our core value proposition. We aim to deliver ‘price discovery’ for the customers in this industry, which has been known for its non-transparency. The orange colour stands for the strength of the promises.
The blue circular line connects the orange dots to form the footprint, completing our existence. It also represents the '@' symbol denoting our online avatar. The blue colour signifies serenity.
