Fontainhas (or Bairro das Fontainhas, in Portuguese) is an old Latin Quarter in Panjim, capital city of the state of Goa, India. It maintains its Portuguese influence, particularly through its architecture, which includes narrow and picturesque winding streets as found in many European cities, old villas and buildings with projecting balconies painted in the traditional tones of pale yellow, green, or blue, and roofs made of red coloured tiles.

Arambol Beach

Arambol is a small fisherman village that never fails to attract native as well as foreign tourists owing to its lively flea market, its hippie culture, late night parties, barbecue at the shacks, adventure activities like paragliding and kitesurfing, and the lovely views of the cliffs lining both the sides of the area. Despite so much to offer, Arambol is still rather pristine as not many people know about it, which is why this Bohemian paradise falls among the unexplored places to visit in Goa.

Hidden beaches in goa- butterfly beach- Seldom do we meet people who have heard about the Butterfly beach in Goa. And out of those few who have, many know it by the name of Butterfly island. The semi-circular shape and the fact that is accessed by a boat ride give the tourists an impression of an island.

Just to confirm, it is NOT an island. It is a beach, situated north of Palolem beach. In fact, it is one of the most beautiful beaches in South Goa. However, it is easier to reach the beach by a boat ride from the nearby beaches as the land journey involves a challenging forest hike.
